Healthy Tikki

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons pressed rice (poha) ,washed and drained
  • ¼ cup blanched and crushed mixed sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon grated carrot
  • 1 teaspoon grated beetroot
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 teaspoon oil

Spices

  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder

Age Group: 12 months & above

Healthy Tikki
  • 1 Mix oats, pressed rice, mixed sprouts, carrot, beetroot, salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and fresh coriander in a bowl.
  • 2 Divide into small portions and shape into tikkis.
  • 3 Heat a non-stick tawa and drizzle the oil. Shallow fry the tikkis till golden brown .
  • 4 Soak the excess oil with an absorbent paper and serve at room temperature.
