Cookie Statement

This Cookie Statement explains how Danone India uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit www.danone.in. It tells you which cookies we use, why we use them and how you can change your choices at any time. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.

Who we are

www.danone.in is operated by Nutricia International Private Limited, part of the Danone group of companies ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this statement, please see the "How to contact us" section at the end.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit it. They let the website recognise your device, remember your settings and understand how the website is used.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company, for example an analytics or advertising provider, are called third-party cookies.

Other similar technologies

In this statement, "cookies" also covers similar technologies that work in the same way, such as:

  • Pixels and tags: small pieces of code that tell us or our partners when a page has been viewed or an action has been taken.
  • Browser storage: information saved in your browser (local storage) instead of in a cookie file, for example to remember your cookie choices.

How we ask for your consent

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner asks for your choice. You can accept all cookies, reject all cookies that are not necessary, or choose which types of cookies you allow.

Necessary cookies are always active because the website cannot work properly without them. All other cookies are only placed on your device after you have agreed to them. If you reject them, they are not used.

You can change your mind at any time by opening our Cookie Settings. You will also find a Cookies Setting link at the bottom of every page.

Types of cookies we use

We group our cookies into the same four categories that you see in our cookie banner and in Cookie Settings.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for the website to work, to keep it secure and to remember your cookie choices. They are always on and cannot be switched off in Cookie Settings. You can block them in your browser, but some parts of the website may then not work.

4. Targeting cookies

These cookies are set by us and our advertising partners. They are used to measure how well our ads work and
to show you ads that are more relevant to your interests on other websites and social media. They do not
store your name or contact details directly, but they identify your browser and device. They are only used
if you accept them.
