  • Channel – Wise (GT / MT) Inventory / Safety Stock Management at CFAs
  • Analyze the current infrastructure constraints & current Business Model & remove bottlenecks
  • Formulating the Transport Plan / Strategy – Route planning / Load Optimization / Cost & Analysis
  • Defining & Periodic assessment of Transport & CFA SOPs .
  • Preparing Annual / Rolling Logistics Budget with Detailed workings
  • Monthly Scorecards / KPIs
  • Review Safety Stocks levels across the chain and advise improvement areas to ensure Zero Sales Loss
  • Understanding of Network Optimization & CFA Transitions
  • Ensure SOP Adherence / Danone Governance
  • Managing Warehousing / Transportation / Distribution

  • Ensure Orders are executed timely
  • Ensure CFA MIS / Order TAT / Delivery OTIF
  • Implement Best in-Class class practices for Warehousing, Transportation & Distribution
  • Designing dash boards & Templates to quantify operational KPIs (CSL / DSL/ OTIF ) & Periodically review & modify
  • Aware of the Industry Trends in terms of Warehousing / Transport Norms & Practices, KPI benchmarking

Qualification

Engineer with MBA Operations/Supply chain
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with Reputed FMCG / Food Company
Knowledge of Warehousing layouts /CFA Transitions / Warehouse Layouts is a must

  • Responsible of the management of all FG physical flows from CFAs (8 to 10) to Distributors (800+)
  • Define/implement the distribution strategy: in sourcing or outsourcing, number and location of warehouses, transportation means, distribution schemes
  • Manage and optimise the global distribution costs: co-negotiation with suppliers (in relation with SSD), design and implementation of continuous improvement programs and Co-logistics opportunities
  • Manage transportation from CFA to Distributor & ensure Lead time adherence
    • Transport execution & management of relationships with transport suppliers
  • Manage inventory/products:
    • CFA / Warehouse management , Warehouses organisation and productivity, Resources management /development
    • Entire Order to Cash Cycle, Customer Service
    • Inventory Accuracy, FIFO, Service level agreements with Manufacturing / Central WH, FG Availability @ CFAs vs Forecast, Deployment Plan Execution for Inter-CFA Transfers (when needed)
  • If relevant: management of relationships with Third party logistics suppliers: Contract definition (with purchasing), Contract follow up (KPIs, performance animation)

Senior Manager – Demand & Supply Planning

  • Make sure the Integrated Business Planning Systems e.g Advanced S&OP process is running properly, with the right contribution and buy-in from all the functions involved
  • Animate the Demand planning process on short, mid and long term horizons. Ensure the collaboration of all necessary functions to the consensus building.
    • Implement & improve the overall planning process/tools for smooth functioning of the business
  • Define and optimize inventory policies in line with the Service and Cash targets of the business, Manage inventory levels of Finished Goods and coordinate on Raws & Packs with sourcing team
  • Manage the Production Planning processes, monitor the supply network, coordinate planning results with production of Finished Goods suppliers (own plants & co-manufacturing), procurement and deployment managers
  • Define, follow up and update Service Level Agreements with Manufacturing and Sourcing Teams
  • Manage intercompany planning processes for imported Finished Goods
  • Manage with Sales and Customer Service product allocation policies in case of shortage
  • Control service level and ensure compliance with customer BBD requirements
  • Animate and contribute to SKU portfolio management process and complexity reduction
  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process and implement continuous improvement action plans to deliver value added through IBP
    • Manage all regional & global reporting of KPI’s including Budget preparations
  • Develop Functional & Managerial skills of team members and set up their individual development plan
  • Support the planning team with specific systems and method know-how
